Italian penne pasta with palma ham wrapped around the chicken is a delicious dinner and is perfect for any day of the week!

Steps

Step 1

Pre-heat the oven to 180° Fan / Gas mark 6 / 400°F

Step 2

Take a sharp knife and cut along the middle of the chicken breast horizontally. Do not cut the whole way through.

Step 3

Open up the flap and place 2 or 3 slices of mozzarella along one side.

Step 4

Place 1 or 2 sprigs of basil on top.

Step 5

Close the chicken flap and wrap 2 slices of parma ham around each chicken breast.

Step 6

Place in an oven proof dish and bake for 25 minutes.

Step 7

Depending on the thickness of the chicken it may require an additional 5 minutes.

Step 8

Measure the penne pasta to 100 grams in a measuring bowl. Then place the penne pasta in the a pan of boiling water and follow packet instructions.

Step 9

You will then make sure to steam the broccoli make sure to steam it through. Then you will drain your penne pasta and pour into a bowl. Once the chicken is cooked, you will take it it of the oven and place in the bowl mixed in with the penne pasta .

Step 10

If you like you can pour a tablespoon of tomato sauce mixing in with the penne pasta
