Step 1

Preparation Vegetable Prep: Shred the cabbage, julienne the carrot, chop the green onions, and gather the bean sprouts. Wrappers: If you're using frozen spring roll wrappers, ensure they are thawed according to the package instructions.

Step 2

In a pan, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat. Add the shredded cabbage, julienned carrot, and bean sprouts to the pan. Stir-fry the vegetables for 3-4 minutes until they are slightly tender but still crisp. Add the chopped green onions and soy sauce to the vegetables. Stir well to combine. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the flavors meld. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 3

Take one spring roll wrapper and place it on a clean surface. Spoon a portion of the vegetable filling onto the center of the wrapper. The wrapper's edges should be folded inward towards the middle, then roll from the bottom to enclose the filling. Seal the top edge with a little water to ensure the roll stays closed. Repeat the process for the remaining wrappers

Step 4

Heat oil in a pan for frying or use an air fryer for a healthier option. After the oil has heated, drop the spring rolls in with caution or air fryer, cooking until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove and place on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
