Step 1

In a pan over medium heat, warm the sesame oil. Once aromatic, add the minced garlic and sauté it for one to two minutes. Add the thoroughly cooked and browned chicken to the pan along with the finely chopped chicken. The oyster sauce and soy sauce should be combined in a small bowl. After adding the sauce to the chicken, thoroughly mix it to coat it. Simmer the sauce for a further two to three minutes, or until it thickens. Put aside.

Step 2

Use a paper towel to gently dry the washed and separated lettuce leaves. Using a spoon, make little wraps out of each lettuce leaf with the chicken filling. Optional: Add chopped peanuts, cilantro, or green onions as a garnish for crunch and freshness.

Step 3

Arrange the lettuce wraps with Thai chicken on a serving platter. For a more engaging, hands-on eating experience, serve the wraps right away and urge customers to pick them up with their hands.
