Simple Butter cake

Want to have something quick for tea or dessert? This cake is very easy to make and even can get you children to get involve as well.

Step 1

1. Preheat the oven to 175 degree. Leave the butter to room temperature to soften, add in caster sugar, eggs and vanilla, mixed well.

Step 2

2. Slowly sieve in the plain flour, baking powder and milk until its all combine together.

Step 3

Pour the cake mixture into a 16-18cm mould and give it a tap to loose out the air bubble in the mixture. Bake in the oven at 175 degree, for 35-45 minutes, or until the skewer come out clean. Once done take it out from the oven and leave it till cold.
