Step 1

In a bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, and lemon zest. Add a little teaspoon of salt and pepper to season the mixture.

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the salmon fillet onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Put a little lemon juice over the fish.

Brush the melted butter over the salmon to ensure the panko mixture adheres. Press the panko mixture onto the top of the salmon fillet, creating an even crust.

Bake the salmon for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the fish is cooked through, in a preheated oven. If desired, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes for extra crispiness.
