The rich flavour of salmon is enhanced with a delectable combination of crunchy panko breadcrumbs and zesty lemon tastes in Lemon and Panko-Crusted Salmon.

Step 1

In a bowl, combine the panko breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, and lemon zest. Add a little teaspoon of salt and pepper to season the mixture.

Step 2

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Put the salmon fillet onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Drizzle the lemon juice over the salmon. Brush the melted butter over the salmon to ensure the panko mixture adheres. Press the panko mixture onto the top of the salmon fillet, creating an even crust.

Step 3

Bake the salmon for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the fish is cooked through, in a preheated oven. If desired, broil for an additional 1-2 minutes for extra crispiness.

Step 4

Carefully transfer the lemon and panko-crusted salmon to a plate. If wished, garnish with more fresh parsley and lemon slices. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious homemade lemon and panko-crusted salmon!
