Roasted cauliflower with five spices is a flavorful take on a traditional vegetable side dish. The warm and fragrant flavour of Chinese five-spice powder is combined with the nutty and sweet flavour of roasted cauliflower in this dish. This is a fun twist on the cauliflower recipe. It will turn your ordinary meal into an appealing snack.

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Cut the cauliflower into florets, confirming they are of similar size for even cooking. Place them on a baking sheet.

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, five-spice powder, garlic powder, ground ginger, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a flavorful seasoning mixture.

Step 3

Drizzle the seasoning mixture over the cauliflower florets. Toss the cauliflower to ensure all the florets are evenly overlaid with the seasoning.

Step 4

Spread the cauliflower out on the baking sheet in a single layer. Roast in the oven for approximately 30 minutes or until the cauliflower is tender and starts to brown at the edges. Toss the cauliflower once or twice during roasting for even cooking.

Step 5

Once the cauliflower is roasted to your desired level of passion and crispiness, please remove it from the oven. Decorate with fresh cilantro or parsley, if desired.
