A refreshing and soothing appetiser or snack, caprese salad skewers celebrate the customary Italian flavour of tomato, mozzarella, and basil. It generally takes just 15 minutes or less to prepare this recipe for one serving. These skewers are a mouthwatering, pleasant appetiser that's excellent for a modest, nutritious bite.

Step 1

First, give the fresh basil leaves and cherry tomatoes a good rinse. Pat them dry with a paper towel. To create each skewer, thread one cherry tomato, one mozzarella ball (bocconcini), and one basil leaf onto a wooden skewer. Repeat this process until you have made six skewers.

Step 2

Arrange the Caprese Salad Skewers on a serving plate. Drizzle extra-virgin olive oil over the skewers, ensuring each one gets a light coating.

Step 3

Drizzle balsamic glaze (or balsamic vinegar) over the skewers for added sweetness and depth of flavor. The amount can be as per your preference.
