Avocado Tuna Salad

A straightforward yet nutritional lunch that is loaded with protein and healthy fats is avocado tuna salad. This dish is savoury and substantial while the spicy tuna and creamy avocado balance each other so well. This is also a Celiac friendly dish.

Step 1

Dice half an avocado and place it in a mixing bowl. Drain half a can of tuna and add it to the bowl. Finely chop the red onion and celery, then add them to the bowl.

Step 2

Within the bowl with avocado, tuna, red onion, and celery, add mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. To suit your taste, use more or less salt and pepper.Tenderly blend all the ingredients until well combined.

Step 3

Squeeze a bit of fresh lemon juice over the salad to add a zesty flavor. Optionally, garnish with halved cherry tomatoes for color and extra freshness. Serve the Avocado Tuna Salad on a bed of lettuce, as a sandwich filling, or with whole grain crackers.
