For a Halloween treat, bake these ghost-shaped piñata biscuits with the kids. To add excitement, they include a surprise centre with popping candies.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°F for fans) or gas 6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
Using electric beaters, add the butter in a bowl and beat until it becomes soft and creamy. To produce a dough, beat in the sugar, then add the egg and vanilla, and then the flour. Add a small amount of extra flour and knead it in if the dough seems a little sticky. Place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes after packing with cling film.
