Description
A delicious and spicy meal from South Asia, chicken biryani is especially well-liked on the Indian subcontinent. Tender chicken chunks marinated in a mixture of spices and yogurt are layered with aromatic basmati rice and cooked to perfection to create this delectable rice meal.

Step 1
Firstly, you must Soak 300g of basmati rice in warm water. Wash in the cold until the water runs clear. Then, you will heat 25g butter in a saucepan. Cook 1 finely sliced large onion with 1 bay leaf, 3 cardamom pods and 1 small cinnamon stick for around 10 minutes. You will then sprinkle in 1 tsp turmeric. Add 4 chicken breasts and make sure to cut into large chunks. Add 4 tbsp curry paste. Cook until this is aromatic and mixed in.
Step 2
Then, you will have to stir the rice into the pan with 85g raisins. Pour over 850ml chicken stock and mix well together. Then place a tight-fitting lid on the pan. Bring to a hard boil and lower the heat to a minimum. Cook the rice for another 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and leave it for 10 minutes. Then stir well and mix through 15g chopped coriander. Then, to serve, scatter over the leaves of the remaining 15g coriander and 2 tbsp of the toasted almonds. It's time for the food. Enjoy the meal.
