Make a pot of strong coffee and allow it to cool. Add coffee liqueur if desired. In a shallow dish, dip each ladyfinger briefly into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are moistened but not soggy. Place a layer of drenched ladyfingers in the serving dish's bottom.

Step 2

In a mixing dish, combine mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla essence to begin making this delicious dessert. Blend all ingredients until a smooth consistency is achieved. In a separate bowl, whip some heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks. The whipped cream should then be softly folded into the mascarpone mixture. Next, add some finely chopped pistachios to the mixture and fold everything together until it's well combined. And that's it! Now you have a tasty dessert that works well for any gathering.

Step 3

Spread half of the pistachio mascarpone mixture over the layer of soaked ladyfingers. Transfer the soaked ladyfingers to a second layer and cover the mascarpone mixture. Spread the remaining pistachio mascarpone mixture over the second layer of ladyfingers. Garnish with chopped pistachios and a dusting of cocoa powder.
