Steps

Step 1

Firstly, you will put the honey, mayonnaise, and lemon juice into a small bowl. Then once you have a creamy, smooth sauce you can stir it thoroughly. Coating the prawns.

Step 2

Then place a deep fryer or skillet over medium-high heat and fill it with vegetable oil. The walnuts should be added to the pan with caution once the oil is heated. Fry until they turn golden brown, about one to two minutes. Since they burn easily, keep a tight watch on them. When all is over, use a slotted spoon to get out the walnuts and arrange them on a dish covered with paper towels to gather the oil that remains. Add the peeled and deveined prawns to the same oil. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes on all four sides, or until the prawns are crispy and pink. Once serving, apply a slotted spoon to take the cooked prawns from the oil and arrange them on a plate covered with paper towels to drain any excess oil.

Step 3

Place the fried prawns and chopped walnuts in a sanitised mixing dish. Transfer the honey, mayonnaise, and lemon juice mixture to the prawns and walnuts. Take care to mix gently so that the creamy sauce coats the prawns and walnuts equally.
