Steps

Step 1

Fill a large, nonstick saucepan to half with water and bring to a boil. Then add the pasta to the pan and cook according to the packet instructions. Add the peas making sure to cook for around 2 minutes more.

Step 2

In the meantime, take a large, nonstick frying pan or wok and heat the oil in it. Then add the onion, bacon, mushrooms, and courgette to the pan. Season using a pinch of salt and pepper. Fry over a medium heat for around 5 minutes, stirring often.

Step 3

Then drain the pasta and peas, returning to the saucepan. Then add the cream and bacon mixture to the saucepan and make sure to place this over low heat. Make sure to mix in with a couple of forks for a few seconds just to ensure that the cream is hot. Finally, sprinkle a handful of Parmesan and serve. ​
