Steps

Step 1

Firstly, you will tip the flour into a large mixing bowl. Then you will mix the yeast into one side of the flour and the fine salt into the other side.

Step 2

Next, create a well in the centre of the flour and pour in 350–400ml of warm water and 2 tablespoons of oil. Make sure to add it gradually until you have a slightly sticky dough. Then, you will need to sprinkle the work surface with flour, tip the dough onto it, scraping around the sides of the bowl. After that, you may knead the dough for five to ten minutes, or until it becomes softer and less sticky. Place the dough into a clean bowl, cover it with a tea towel, and leave it to prove for 1 hour until doubled in size.
